Now, not just any picture will do, unfortunately. Getting a good profile picture is not that mundane a task. There is a thin line of what will and what will not work to benefit from pictures. Okay, before I give out some tips, you need to answer two questions first:
1. What kind of man/ woman are you trying to attract? Alright, there is a large audience of young, wealthy, and sexy people out there, and an even more diverse sea of personalities. Your picture must somewhat echo the personality that you are looking for. Want to attract a party girl? Then use a playful picture. Want to catch the eye of a serious man? Then choose a picture that is somber. When I say somber, I do not mean boring.
2. What is your best asset? Everyone has something that is unique in them, something great. And since no one knows yourself better than you do, well, you just have to figure out what your best asset is and then use it to gain friends. If you have a great smile, then use a picture of you flashing those pearly whites. You can even edit them a little (do not go over board, alright? You just need to enhance, not do over). If friends say that you have a great humor, then show a picture of you laughing and looking like you're having a great time. If you're amazingly tall, then ask a shorter friend to be in a picture with you. It's good to have a point of comparison.
