6 Tips For The Perfect Picture

Hopefully, after the previous article, you would already have an inkling at how important a picture is in your online millionaire dating life. Making and posting a good profile picture will help other online daters realize what a great person you are. Imagining and visualizing the person on the other side of the computer may be a great exercise for the mind, but putting a picture will help remove any doubts as to whether a potential date had lied about themselves.

Alright, so right to it: Tips and advice for a great profile picture. Now, these are not rules, merely tips that will hopefully help you in attracting the wealthy single out there. Onto the tips!

1. Your picture must show who you really are, and not someone you are not. Your answer to question number 1 of the previous article should help you figure this one out. One advice, gather a group of pictures and then choose one that you personally like.

2. Find a picture that shows your good side. Everyone has a good side. Unless you're Denzel Washington with the perfect proportional face, then either your left or right side is the better one. Look at the mirror and judge for yourself which side is your better one. And the next time you get your pics taken, make sure that you get snapped at your good side.

3. Make sure that your picture shows you looking happy. Or at least in a good mood. Remember the "smile that launched a thousand ships"? Well, that's basically it, a smile always brings out the inner beauty of a person. Besides, a smiling picture can put a potential online date at ease because it makes you look more approachable and at ease.

4. As much as possible, use "natural" pictures. Natural pictures show you at your natural "habitat" as opposed to a posed picture, taken in a studio. While some may argue that a studio picture is better, but I think that people may find you more "human" if you're photographed doing the things that you do or being in places that you usually go to. Do not really focus on being "perfect" for the camera, just be natural, and your innate beauty is sure to shine through.

5. Do not use a passport photo or your ID photo at work. Why? Simple, because they're hardly flattering! Most of these pictures are taken by someone who is in a great deal of hurry because there are other people on queue after you. So before you can smile by the count of 3, your picture had already been taken at 2. Some of my ID pictures show me looking surprised, bewildered, or even distracted. And believe me, you'd want those pictures as far away from your online millionaire dating profile as possible. I mean, which gorgeous and wealthy single would want to date someone who looked like they were cornered in their picture (which is how I look in some of my passport and ID photos)?

6. Add a dose of your personality. Your background has to reflect a bit of who you are too. Like, if you're an outdoors kind of person, then choose a photo that has the wild, open spaces in your background. If you're the sporty type, then you can have your field or court as your background. If you're the homebody type, then choose that one where you feel comfy and at home.
